anil

hello you. two.

this blogpost might be about shaving. seeing as that may not go down well with most of my target audience(8+), may i suggest you see this?

Anyhoo, I don't like shaving for work every day. It is a waste of time and I don't think the clients give a shit about my appearance. They love my personality though.

Fortunately, the above picture isn't mine. The 80s movies would want us to believe that women would dig the man above. In all his matted chestal glory. :l

Come to think of it, isn't our take on body hair a function of what the media/pimps of information would want us to believe? I mean, people were into fitness back in the day as well (case in point. Govinda doing roof top push ups in Hum), but it is only now that fitness has become the new black. much like chest hair. or lack thereof. Do you see where this is going?

I don't.

Legend has it that Anil Kapoor shaves every 4 hours. This isn't fur. It is a living, breathing ecosystem. An illustrative exchange on the sets of Bulandi:

"Kya Shot Diya Anil Bhai! Full Emotion. Ae Gafoor, Yeh Shave Ka Saamaan Laa Re"

Bulandi reminds me of this

Nothing godawful about it really, but I never got the going to meet the girl bit. Coz the girl was a 53 year old Rekha. Maybe I'm strange to find it disturbing.

Meh.

If you're pressed for time, move to the chorus which starts at around 1.30. I used to bust a pelvic move to this till a few years ago. Why am i telling you all of this?

Talking of Anil Bhai, I used to like this song back in the day.

Awwwleeeee.

The other day I was buying something from a streetside vendor. A 13 year old kid, give or take 2 years.

When I asked him the price of his wares *a one foot stuffed horse*, he goes, "Rs.### Uncle"

Post negotiation, when I finally paid him Rs. *** for the said article *a one foot stuffed horse*, I said "Yeh Le Beta"

Fuck My Life.

puchchee

hello 2010. a little late in the day i should think. देर आये मगर दुरुस्त आये.

i went to bangkok and koh samui (जिधर कहो ना प्यार है की शूटिंग हुई थी ) last monthतोह दोनों पे एक एक पंकती हो जाये, ताकी थोडा शो ऑफ कर सकूं.

ही ही.

Bkk was mostly about shopping, really late nights, 60 year guy next door getting action every night, funny sardars, airport transfers, more shopping, gigantic malls, and interesting fast food. Fast food मतलब बर्गर पीज़ा, ना कि कुट्टू की सबजी और व्रत वाला खाना. Everybody looks the same there and the city smells of मच्छी .Also, there are ample avenues if young boys to umm, become मर्दs .And we met Van Damme at the Sky Bar there. The same guy who's there in the afternoon star movies movies that no one watches.

no, not steven seagal. yes i know, no one watches him either.

this is van damme. he's tougher in real life.

Koh samui on the other hand was mostly about partying, beaches, funky airports, water sports, even later nights, free booze, scootying, and pool. also, cheap calling cards from friendly indian vendor. and awesome food. come to think of it, the food on the trip was consistently good. especially the meal at happy elephant, this seaside tavern. a dh1 recommend!

enough about the trip.

talking of trips, im going to goa the weekend after. so that , if nothing else, shall provide content for my next blogpost.

creativity is me :l

the club people have finally put the badminton tournament board up which has my name on the winner's list. so that's good. who's for crispy chili potato in da club and repping the board while we're at it? i hear you, babe.

cat doon ya gmat?

i bought this 1 ft horse made of cloth from a red light the other day.

ok bye

Rajasthan dyaries

Im writing this from udaipur.. will come back and edit it, throw in a few photos.. you know..the works..

so anyway, its been a hectic few days.. here's a brief round up(in order of appearance in my head; may or may not match timelines)

Day 1- Arrival, Shawl place(side note - run by a cool guy called Muza who spends half the year in Brooklyn; drives a CRv so not a bad business at all(!).. he knew someone we knew so we had kehwa @ his place); checked out the city palace and had lunch @ this garden restaurant run by HH(his highness!!!1 the king of udaipur who obviously likes to assert himself like people with normal people with pot bellies, beards and low self confidence generally do)-pretty pocket friendly thali so you should check that out;some random place having vintage cars owned by HH(!); pimped out the jagdish temple and the sahelio ki baadi(chhyeah!) and spent the evening @ the shilpgram village(this ethnic heritage sorta village place with folk dancers, hawkers and all that jazz);roof top dinner @ our hotel to cloje the day(awesome view of the lake)(oh did i mention THE lake-its the Usp of this place, or rather the OSP(only selling point) so everyone likes to have some connect with it)

Day2-Shrinath temple(vrindavan part II),lunch @ the devigarh fort(dh1 recommend),saas bahu temple in the middle of nowhere(awesomeness on the intricate work, epic sun set @ the hill top monsoon palace(guess who owns it..nah i meant HH re) followed by coffee(yay!3 days seemed like 10 years) at the alfresco cafe there..bliss;followed by one of the best dinners i've had in ages @ Ambrai(this romantic outside place next to the bay, with soft live music and on the banks of the lake..my wet dream);did i mention the wildlife sanctuary on our way to the hill top place..

its currently day3..will totally update everything on this once im back..gotta run for dinner..meeting my cousin who's here coz of his CA articleship..its a hard knock life..:l

been a fun lil sojourn till now.. just thought i should send something out..

peace and Louu

There was a boy
He used to make gap
In watermelon

To rehearsal

Fragile Fragile

That boy,

Oh baby, I want to sex you
On the table

I want to banana
In your that place

Sex you

I want to nude you
And the shaking

the boy who lived..to fornicate

hello to the peoples of the worlds.

before anything, shaving advice - do it just After you've had a bath and NOT before it. that way your skin is smoother and wet (did i mention dont wipe ur face) so its a lot easier and no cuts!

Yea, so people in my work place like to chat up while they pee. Umm, i don't. Which leads to funny situations. Let's just leave it that.

Lately, i haven't been able to go for random meet ups and parties (ooh!) coz of various reasons. No, i haven't become decidedly asocial; it just hasn't worked out for one reason or another. Which basically means, guys, it was just happenstance. its all good; Keep the invites coming!

Man i like work. I just want to get free earlier. Coz the way it stands, it barely leaves time for other things. Like cleaning my underwear(read hand towel) drawer for instance. Or poker. You get the drift.

I started listening to UK asian music back in the 10th grade. Mom said its just a phase beta. Its been 6 years now. Long phase maa.

Man i should've gone for P's social gathering last night. It would've been a night of drunken debaucherous revelry. Sigh.

You win some, you dim sum.

What is up with the way people drive? No seriously. Lanes! They're meant for a purpose. So are indicators(!) And when you can see the light's countdown is about to end, i can see why you might want to set your hair, touch yourself(1) or whatever. Why not start your cars while you're at it eh? Never mind.

Talking of work, I've started doing in 3 weeks what I didn't do in 3 years of college.
No no, i haven't stopped watching porn(2). I meant carrying a wallet. The uncle transformation is complete! *glint*

I need more formal shirts! *hint hint* Talking of which, I'll be 21 in 5 odd months! I dont like the sound of that.

Its an irish folk song. You might like it, you might not. I do.(dd take note)

Oh and i got a week's worth of gym membership at this new gym near office while i chatted up the owner. Vaaao( saif style)

More later

P.S. Looking forward to Funny People, the movie. Imdb it!
(1) - explore your body. you know, like basturmate and stuff.
(2) - No i don't watch porn. Yes i do. No i don't.
